Nikki’s debut into the world of motorsport began in 2005 when she was selected from thousands of entrants to compete in the national Formula Woman motor racing championship.
Preparation for the championship included tuition from professional racing instructors, competing in kart races, securing sponsorship, generating media coverage and building fitness.
After becoming one of the 16 chosen to race in the Caterhams, Nikki then won the overall championship in September 2006.
She went on to promote women in motorsport by appearing at the MPH ’06 Show and was interviewed live on the main stage at the Autosport International Show in 2007. Nikki provided passenger laps at an NSPCC charity day at Castle Combe circuit and was guest speaker at an Executive Woman’s event in London later that year. Nikki was also nominated for BBC Midlands Sports Personality in 2007.
With her Business & Marketing degree, organisational skills and experience in motorsport, Nikki progressed to become Team Manager for a number of teams in endurance racing events around the world at circuits including Spa, Silverstone, Daytona and Sebring.
Nikki also organises corporate driving days and events in the UK for companies such as CCS Media – a successful IT company; and events abroad for international companies such as Global Africa Cargo.
For other corporate clients, including Castrol and Honda, Nikki provides onboard video services for their client experience days, that have included World Rally events in Spain and Poland.
